Bruce Vantine's Cornerstone Chorale & Brass

Gary Lessmann

Gary practices emergency medicine in St. Louis, MO.  He holds degrees from Valparaiso University, St. Louis University School of Medicine, and completed a family medicine residency at Naval Hospital, Jacksonville, FL.  He is a retired U.S. Navy Captain.

Musical credits include studying under Larry Fleming as a member of the Valparaiso University Choir, touring with Musica Reservata, and performing for many years with the American Kantorei under the direction of Dr. Robert Bergt and Maurice Boyer.

Married for 44 years, father of 4 and grandfather of 10, he is a private pilot, and enjoys sailing, diving, running, biking and any sport with a ball.  This is his third tour with Cornerstone.  Gary has been an avocational clarinet player since early childhood.
